If an Iowa work injury leaves me with a permanent disability, what will my benefits entail?

If it is determined that your work injury leads to permanent disability then you will be entitled to further benefits from your employer.  Benefits for permanent disability are paid weekly.  The amount paid will be based on several factors such as the particular body part injured and the severity of your injury.  If your Iowa work injury has caused you to be permanently totally disabled, then you will be entitled to weekly benefits for the rest of your life.
